Constitution

The Mourne Rambling Group drew up a constitution which became effective in April 1989. Amendments to the Constitution can be raised by any member and debated at the AGM provided notice of any amendment is delivered, together with the name of the Proposer and Seconder, to the Secretary on or before the 31st August. Notice of the proposal shall then be included in the notice convening the AGM.

Proposed amendments to the Constitution shall not be carried unless they receive two-thirds of the votes cast.
